Enjoy the journey.
Making decisions and making choices was always easy for me, when I was still in high school (2012) I had already decided that design was the degree I wanted to study, and soon after I entered a private university, because luckily I have an angel called grandfather who has always invested in my education.
I entered university (2013) with a focus on the web area and right at the beginning of the course I discovered that brand management and user experience made more sense to me. Design helped me to develop critical thinking and to see new angles, as well as allowing me to explore the creative side in different circumstances.
At the end of the course (2016) and after an internship at an institution focused on Brazilian entrepreneurship, the desire to undertake arose, so I decided to open a business that aimed to bring graphic design to small companies, then I met a friend who entered society and , together, we reformulated the company about three times before we decided to close it. Today I understand that the desire I felt back then to undertake said much more about the lifestyle I would like to have in my life.
After two years of graduation I decided to start a postgraduate course (2017), perhaps this was the decision that made me feel like I was wasting time, but it was during this period that I raised many questions about myself and what I do, and so I was able to make choices, which I believe will make me reap good results in the future. Today I believe in three premises: (1) bad choices and decisions are part of and can bring great learning; (2) success only comes to those who insist – and this is a very relative word; (3) my timing may be different from yours - and that's okay.
In this process of rediscovery and choices, I started a project that aims to help women's careers and started to specialize in UX Design and Personal Branding, as well as moving to another country, focusing on increasing my repertoire, learning English and starting my international career.
As Brazilian economist and entrepreneur Jorge Paulo Lemann says: “Dream big, because having a big dream is the same work as having a small dream”. It is with this line of thought that I continue to dream big and encourage those who seek to do what they love.
